- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪This place is terrible do not waste your time gong here. I filled out all the paperwork they requested on their website. I provided my insurance information and was scheduled and appointment with one of the doctors. Showed up for my appointment and was informed they no longer accept my insurance. They had plenty of time to check my insurance information and let me know they no longer accepted it before I took time off work. They said I would have to pay $300 out of pocket to see the doctor. I really needed to get get my medicine refilled so I asked if I could be billed since I didn't get paid till this Friday. They basically laughed at me and said no. The front desk lady's were just plain rude and had no concern for my well being. You would think since all their patients are there because of mental needs they would be a bit more respectful with he way they handle them. It took everything I had to keep from doing something I would regret. This place is trash please do yourself a favor and find a doctor that actually cares enough hire descent staff. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My son has been a patient going on 7 years now. At first Dr Venkatesh and I had a lil mis communication about a particular med. But we came as 1 and solved the matter. But overall i have not any issues other then a long wait time(sometimes). After being a patient for so long the was turned over nto the hands of Dr. Edwards who is no longer there. Now my son see Dr. Emily. She is a sweet amazing person. After explaining my sons history to her she immediately took another route on focusing more on the main primary problem. She is a very concerned compassionate and dedicated person in what she does. Overall Kingwood Psychiatry gets 5 stars from me!September 29, 2017by Markesha Benson
