  6 months ago, I had a procedure here and was told they took my insurance and would be fully covered. Over the last two weeks I've received two bills for over $1000 each from two different out of network labs from this visit. Find a different place to get your procedures! This place will cost you!!

  DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. I had a EGD on 4/6/17 and they sent my pathology to two different out of network pathologists and now I have a $3,500 bill. It's because of places like this that people are encouraged to stop seeking medical care. Why do I pay insurance if this place is going to completely avoid using it for every aspect? This is unacceptable.

  My GI Dr. is absolutely wonderful. The front office was not very professional nor friendly. My nurse and the anesthesiologist were absolutely professional, kind, and informative, BUT several weeks after my EGD, I received a $3, 343.00 bill from the United Pathologist, which was out of network with my insurance. Prior to the procedure, I asked my insurance, my MD and the facility if they were in network and it was confirmed they were. It was not until I received the bill that I was informed the pathologist did not have contract with my insurance and therefore can ultimately bill whatever he wants. There are over 70 contracted pathologist and laboratories that could have been used and my tissue was sent to a out of network pathologist. I think this is a good formalized scam to get money out of patients.

  I had my EGD done today, some of the front staff was rude, but once you get to the back the nurses and anesthesiologists were absolutely delightful! I had a good experience, we'll see what happens when the bill comes. Lol. Also, Nurse Wanda is amazing! So sweet and great bedside manner! She deserves a raise. Lol

  Nursing care was excellent. The problem is anesthesia services. If you don't want to be totally unconscious for your procedure, only wanting to be sedated, you picked the wrong place. Underwent two colonoscopies in the past asking for conscious sedation (did well from previous experience) but was bullied into general anesthesia (wouldn't take me into procedure room until I signed consent for it!). After letters of complaints sent to board of directors and administration, finally received conscious sedation for third colonoscopy. Patients have rights!
