  I went to doctor kafrouni with gastritis issues and had an EGD done. Every appointment he listened to me and never once made me feel rushed. He was genuine and truly made me feel like he cared. He's very knowledgeable and kind. I definitely recommend him. Lastly, my gastritis was completely better within 3 months!

  Please read my entire post. Dr. Kafrouni is very kind, very personable, and makes me feel like he cares. His office is not easy to work with as they are very busy and there are too many steps you must take in order to reach a live person with a question or request other than to make an appointment. BUT, I will say that his staff is also very kind and polite when you are able to interact with them. One issue - in mid-September, I was scheduled at Pearland Surgical Center for a colonoscopy to be performed by Dr. Kafrouni. I learned that he called the surgical center and told them he was going to be an hour late for my procedure. No reason was provided. I was sick because of the prep - vomiting, etc. I needed anti-nausea medication and IV fluids. But because Dr. Kafrouni called and said he was going to be an hour late, the anesthesiologist left the building. It is my pet peeve that physicians seem to think that a patient's time is not valuable - it really, really is very upsetting to me. Aside from that one incident, I have no issues at all with Dr. Kafrouni's ability to care for my condition - Crohn's Disease. His bedside manner is wonderful. Seldom will you find a physician who comes to see you in the hospital who genuinely makes you feel like you finally found the person who will promise to take care of you and you just know that his word is true.
