- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪More worried about turning a buck as fast as possible in the OR. Nurses are not offered restroom or hydration breaks and rarely get lunch prior to the 7th hour of an 8 hour shift if at all. Reprimanded for " slow " turnovers by nurse managers who are feeding themselves or are " in meetings " rather than taking care of their staff. A completely unhealthy environment for any employee. Nurses often in locker rooms at end of shift in tears for this and other poor treatment decisions by those in charge. Can't get staff or keep staff they currently have even with offer of contract completion bonus.October 04, 2017by Lisa Michelle
